BioBlitz

Vermont Museum of Natural History is hosting their second BioBlitz at the Pool Nature Center on Saturday, May 16th!

What is a BioBlitz? The goal is to catalogue as many species as possible in a particular area over a set time. The 2025 BioBlitz recorded over 480 species of trees, newts, fungi, flowers, frogs, moths, ferns, birds, and much more. This year's event will include a variety of expert guided explorations, walks, and some crawls. Come early, come late, stay for a little bit, or stay all day!
