Dover Flood Resilience Discussion

Rock River Community Meeting: Flood Impacts and Resilience
April 11th, 2026 10AM-12PM

Dover Town Hall, Dover, VT

Community discussion on Rock River flooding at Dover Town Hall, April 11, 2026, 10 AM - 12 PM. Free and open to all!

The District and a team of Dartmouth students are interested in hearing how flooding has impacted you. We want to provide a space for community members to share their stories and discuss how they are building resilience. Please register here!

We are a team of Dartmouth students who, in partnership with the Windham County Natural Resource Conservation District, are working to understand and address the impacts of flooding on communities along the Rock River.

On Saturday, April 11th, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Dover Town Hall in Dover, Vermont, we are hosting a community meeting for landowners and community members of the Rock River watershed.

The goal is to better understand on-the-ground challenges, identify gaps in resources and response, and work together to create more effective, community-informed approaches to flood preparedness and response. We plan to do this through discussion of flooding impacts and sharing out resources available to community members.

This is a free event. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the meeting.

This is a chance for voices from the front lines to help shape more responsive and inclusive flood preparedness strategies across the region. If you have any questions, please reach out to hannah.c.clark.26@dartmouth.edu

Thank you,
