Explore Life on the Green River!

Come Explore Life on the Green River at Green River Meadows. In partnership with Windham County Natural Resources Conservation District (WCNRCD), the Green River Watershed Alliance (GRWA), Vermont River Conservancy (VRC), and members from Trout Unlimited, Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) will host an educational event with activities fit for all ages.

Macroinvertebrate Sampling Sessions: 10:00am-11:00am, 11:00am-12:00pm, & 1:00pm-2:00pm 

Join CRC and partners on October 17th for one of the three macroinvertebrate sampling sessions to learn and interact with the variety of macroinvertebrates in the stream. Or stop by to spend time touring Green River Meadows and other educational stations that focus on riparian buffers, the connection between macroinvertebrates and fly fishing, and the restoration of the Green River Meadows site. 

Pre-registration required for Macroinvertebrate Sampling Sessions as space is limited; all attendees must sign a waiver. Registration to attend the larger event (not including specific sessions) is encouraged but not required.
