Vermont's 2025 Wildlife Action Plan Draft

Vermont’s Wildlife Action Plan for 2025-2035 is open for public review and comment!

Vermont's Wildlife Action Plan is a wildlife conservation guide that is revised every 10 years. Action Plans are required for states to receive State Wildlife Grants funds from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, a federal program aimed at preventing wildlife from becoming endangered and recovering those that are. Gathering advice from conservation partners and the public is a fundamental element of the revision process.
